Aikido will have a different meaning and impact on anyone who practices it.  For me, it was an opportunity to learn a great martial art.  The Soengkono Dojo provides a receptive environment in which to practice with mutual respect, safety and enthusiastic teaching.  Aikido is a great workout, but it is much more than a “way to stay in shape”.  Those who persevere, as O’Sensei wrote, will find truth in that “Aikido uses the body to train the mind and calm the spirit.”
